We've been in the hotel for 2 1/2 weeks now and are doing great! The kids love the buffet food each morning and evening and swimming in the pool. We've kept busy with the following activities:
*Went up to Peoria and spent Thanksgiving weekend with our good friends, the Alcenius', and had a blast!
*Eric broke his pinkie finger playing flag football - funny how he went played two seasons of real football and escaped without injury.
*Playing "monkey in the middle" at the pool with Eric's flip-flops (all our pool toys are packed).
*We had a going away party at a friend's house for Eric and Paige. There were 18 kids total and they had a super fun time eating, playing games, and being silly!
*Eric and Paige have been spending every spare minute they have with their friends before they have to say good bye.
*I have been studying tons (finals are next week), buying little Christmas gifts for teachers, friends, etc., taking care of last minute details before we leave Illinois, working on Primary stuff (still haven't been released), and making sure the kids don't get too bored.
Overall, things are going smoothly. Corey will be here on Friday, Dec 12th and we will prepare to head out to Utah for Jayson's wedding!
