India Day at School

This month they celebrated India Day at the school. All week long, the children learned things about India and ended with an assembly on Friday. It was good timing for Eric and Paige, since we had just arrived. Each of the elementary classes dressed up in Indian clothing and performed a skit, song, or dance. Paige was part of a skit where she performed a rain dance. The middle school didn't perform, but were invited to wear Indian clothing all week. I had a tunic for Eric but he didn't want to wear it because it was "too itchy and hot". Oh well. Here are some pics and a video of Paige:

  1. Go Paige ! Go Paige! It's your birthday! Go Paige! Well done girlie!

Paige has Karrie's dancing fever. I love the color of your outfit.

We just got 4 inches of snow. Big wet fluffy snowflakes and Leo just wants to play in it....

  2. Paige, you sure look pretty. I bet you are learning so much about India in such a short time. When you come home for a visit, you can tell me all about your first 6 months! Love Nana

  3. Karrie, we want to email or call you! I love your blog! The pictures are amazing. Please email when you have time to 1gclawson@comcast.net. Sam just got an electic guitar for his birthday and wants to tell Eric all about it. We miss you guys so much but are glad you are having an adventure in India. It is freezing, windy and of course occasionally smelly here, so if you are feeling homesick that should help. xoxo all the Clawsons
